Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We are open 8AM–2AM daily except for major holidays.

Q: How do I purchase a membership?
A: Either in-person at any TechShop location or via our website here.

Q: Can I reserve time on the equipment?
A: Yes! All active members may reserve time on equipment*. Simply go to our Equipment Reservation Calendar page, locate an open time slot on the piece of equipment you would like to use and call the front desk to reserve it. *Some available equipment require a Safety and Basic Usage class is taken and passed before access is granted.

Q: How do I get my TechShop badge?
A: We will happily print your new Membership badge on-site at the time of your first visit, just stop by.

Q: Will my Menlo Park or San Jose badge work in San Francisco?
A: Yes! TechShop badges are good at all locations.

Q: Is there parking at TechShop San Francisco?
A: Yes! Call (415) 263-9161 for details. Public transit is also just a couple blocks away (The closest Caltrain stop is 4th and King. Powell is the closest BART station).

Q: Is there a bike rack to lock my bike?
A: Yes! This is San Francisco after all. We love bikes!

Q: Do you offer project storage?
A: We have personal lockers and a range of small, medium and large "personal storage" spaces available. 

Q: Are there onsite offices for rent?
A: We have three offices available for rent - if you are interested in an office contact us at info.sf@techshop.ws.
