TechShop San Jose is open from 9AM to midnight daily except for major holidays.
TechShop will close to members at midnight on Friday, February 10th. We will reopen in the new location in early March. About Us Located at 300 South 2nd Street, TechShop San Jose is a 17,000-square-foot facility with onsite parking and nearby overflow parking. It has close proximity to freeways and is within walking distance of Light Rail and San Jose State University. A community-based workshop and prototyping studio on a mission to democratize access to the tools of innovation, TechShop is packed with cutting-edge tools, equipment, and computers loaded with design software featuring the Autodesk Design Suite. Most importantly, TechShop offers space to make, and the support and camaraderie of a community of makers. In 2016, we rank among Inc.'s 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies -- for the fourth year in a row.
