MAC205: Advanced Metal Lathe - Knurling and Threading

Using a metal lathe to create custom threads for bolts, nuts or any custom application can seem like a daunting and quite complex machining operation.

This class breaks down the process and clearly explains the concepts and techniques of threading. You will learn about the different types of tools used for threading, anatomy and nomenclature of threads and the step-by-step process to machining any kind of thread.
