STEAM104: STEAM Lab- Open Making

Are you a younger maker who was a student in our Design & Build summer camps? Perhaps you have taken a Parent/Child Laser or 3D Printing class? If you're excited about what you learned and want to come back to the shop keep keep using these awesome machines: listen up! TechShop is now offering STEAM Lab sessions for makers ages 8 - 17, who have previously learned how to use our laser cutters and 3D printers.

Maybe you have an idea to expand on the project you created this summer, or you just want more time to experiment with these machines- all ideas are welcome! STEAM Lab sessions will be three hours long, and will give students a chance to work on project ideas under the guidance of an experienced instructor, who will be able to answer questions and help students problem-solve as needed. The best part? No parental supervision is necessary! So bring your thinking cap, some cool materials, and plenty of excitement- let's get to making!

Supplies will NOT be provided. Students may bring supplies that are approved for use in the machines, or they may purchase a variety of materials from the retail shop before class begins.
