Next, use TechShop's CNC vinyl cutter to cut adhesive vinyl sheet into professional looking signage or ready-to-apply paint masking. This is a great tool for making screens for silkscreen printing, too!

Project: Vinyl sticker

Prerequisites
  • Required: Understanding of vector-based graphics

  • Recommended: COM201: Adobe Illustrator for CNC, COM207: CorelDRAW for CNC
Equipment access: Vinyl cutter

Minimum age: 12

Supervision requirements: During class, all students 8–12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also enrolled in the class.

When using the laser cutter outside of class time, members 8–12 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian who has passed the SBU.

Safety: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

Once you take and successfully pass this class, you can use this equipment for your projects whenever you work at TechShop as a member!
