Jim Newton
Jim is the Founder and Managing Director of TechShop.  Jim came up with the idea for TechShop in 2004 when he realized that there are a lot of people who want to build things but just don't have access to the required tools and equipment.  He has been an inventor and tinkerer for most of his life.  Jim taught a popular series of combat robotics classes at the College of San Mateo, was a member of a BattleBots combat robotics team, and was the Science Advisor for the Discovery Channel's MythBusters show for season 3.

Mark Hatch
Mark is our COO.  He has a lot of very applicable experience, having been at Kinko's corporation and Avery Dennison.

Robert Thomas
Robert is our Director of Operations.  Robert keeps everything at TechShop coordinated and running as smoothly as possible.

Lynne Angeloro
Lynne is the Director of Education Services at TechShop and is in charge of scheduling classes, developing relationships with instructors, and making the student experience rewarding and fun by helping to refine and polish the curriculum that TechShop offers, as well as the development of content of new classes going forward.

Sesame Mish
Sesame keeps everything running behind the scenes in the office at TechShop.

Abe Downey
Abe is the head of Facilities, and keeps TechShop's machines up and running.  He also knows a lot about various fabriction processes and is always happy to help you with your projects.

Michael Catterlin
You'll see Michael around TechShop keeping the machines running and tuned. Michael is a strong "maker" and can help you with your projects.

Dharma Tamm
You'll see Dharma around TechShop mostly on the weekends keeping the machines running and tuned.  He is a "maker" and can help you with ideas for your project.

Pat Dear
Pat is TechShop's Assistant Office Manager.  You will see Pat at the front desk, and he is always happy to give you a lively tour of TechShop when you come in.

Meredith Wrinkle
Meredith is one of our great front desk staff members, and she will assist you with membership sales, class registrations, tours of the TechShop facility, and general information.

Christie Slightam
Christie is one of our great front desk staff members, and she will assist you with membership sales, class registrations, tours of the TechShop facility, and general information.
