CNC300: CNC Techno Desktop Router SBU - Level 3
Class Number 65-35489

In this Level 3 Safety and Basic Use class (SBU), you will learn to translate your parts designed in 2D or 3D CAD software into physical reality using our CNC (computer numeric controlled) Techno desktop router/milling machine. Parts can be made from most plastics, composites and non-ferrous metals. This class is most useful to people who have previous CAD experience or have taken an introduction to CAD class.

Many of our students have found that they end up taking all the classes in this CNC series, even if they have to schedule them out of order. It is preferable to have taken either CNC Level 1 or CNC Level 2 BEFORE taking a CNC Level 3 or CNC Level 4 class.

For your safety, please wear a short-sleeved shirt, and remember to always wear closed-toed shoes at TechShop. Safety glasses are also required; street glasses are not a substitute.
