ART104: Making Glass Beads with a Flaming Torch

Make art from molten glass! The process is fascinating and the result is beautiful. Warning: You may become addicted!
You will learn to use a lampworking torch to melt glass, form and decorate your own glass beads. Western-style and Japanese-style torches will be demonstrated. Starting supplies will be provided in class.
For your safety, please wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt in natural fibers for this class. And remember, always wear closed-toed shoes while at TechShop.
After successful completion of this class, you will be able to use TechShop's lampworking equipment to make additional beads.
