TXL107: CNC Long Arm Quilting Machine SBU
Class Number 421-29891

In this information packed, hands-on Safety and Basic Use (SBU) class, you will learn the ins and outs of working with TechShop's CNC long arm quilting machine.

You will learn how to wind bobbins, thread the machine, change needles and use the hopping foot. You will learn to use the two modes of stitching: movement and stitch. We will discuss sources for materials and machine accessories and you will receive tips for professional results.

Upon successful completion of this class, you will have the experience and knowledge necessary to operate this machine independently.

This course now includes instruction on the CNC attachment. Your quilting can be traditional, with you controlling the pattern, or you may let the CNC attachment take over and automatically stitch a pattern you created on the computer.
