WKS603: "Bologna Sandwich" Casting

The name of this project comes from its stackable parts! Combine laser technology with centuries-old casting techniques to produce custom jewelry in pewter.
In this workshop, you will work with your instructor to create two unique take-home jewelry pieces. The results are astounding. This is a great opportunity to let your Laser Cutter SBU skills shine.
Please note: This workshop utilizes TechShop’s equipment but all shop rules still apply – unless you have already passed the required safety course(s), you will not be operating the machine, your instructor will. This is not a Safety and Basic Use (SBU) class – you may NOT use TechShop's equipment without passing the associated Safety and Basic Use class.
Students ages 8 and up may attend ONLY if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian MUST sign up for the workshop as well.
