FAB202: Basic Aluminum Casting
Class Number 190-29056
In this Safety and Basic Use class, you will cast a number of small objects from patterns using sand molds. We will discuss pattern design, mold troubleshooting and, most importantly, safety.
After completion of this class, you will be certified to use the equipment to cast safely on your own.
Molten aluminum will be handled, so participants must wear leather footwear (preferably boots), long sleeves and pants.
Passing this class is a requirement to use this equipment at TechShop
