WOD303B: Cabinet Making - Basics of Design and Construction - Part 2
Class Number 469-28048

Learn how to design and construct wood cabinets and cabinet-style furniture.

In this two-part introductory class, you will learn the basics of cabinet design and construction with an emphasis on today's techniques. You will learn about the parts of a cabinet, discuss how and what woodshop tools to use to create the parts, and techniques to assemble a cabinet. Design and planning techniques will be discussed so you can prepare a design and plan for your first project. You should have an idea of what you would like to build for your project.

Part 1 will take place in the classroom. We will discuss design software and the different parts of the design and planning paper work. You will complete a set of designs and plans for your project.

This is Part 2 of a two-session class. You must take Part 1 before this one.
