Libelium is the team that brought Cooking-Hacks.com, and a universe of wireless sensing and micro-controller solutions, to the masses!
In this presentation, Alicia will explain how open hardware helped them as entrepreneurs to bootstrap Libelium (which has designed an open source sensor platform), build a community around it, and use the input received to improve the product. Finally, she will also explain the traction that makers are gaining inside the Internet of Things landscape with some examples of crowdsourcing.
