Join us at TechShop San Francisco (926 Howard St.) on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, when David will discuss his Zero to Maker journey as well as some of the key ideas he has learned along the way. There will be lots of time for Q&A on any and all things maker-related: his TechShop experience, OpenROV project, Kickstarter strategies and more.
Tours and a new member orientation will be available following David's presentation.
Open to TechShop members and nonmembers. Please RSVP!
About the Presenter: David Lang is the co-creator of OpenROV (an open-source underwater robot and community of DIY ocean explorers around the world), authored Make Magazine's Zero to Maker blog series, Kickstarted a variety of projects, and has spent hundreds of hours at TechShop. His recently launched project, Zero to Maker: A Reskilling Guide for New Makers, is a book that will bring what he's learned along the way to aspiring makers across the country, highlighting useful skills and providing insight into potential trouble spots.
