Your Chance to Meet and Network with Other TechShop Members
Come and discuss all things textile and socialize with others who like to sew. Whether you make costumes or tents, industrial-sewn leather bags or rocket parachutes, we'd like to see your work! Chat about knitting and crocheting; discuss elastic, costuming tricks and building your own patterns; and share ideas and skills. This is your time to finish your projects, socialize, experiment and ask questions of the instructor and other classmates from the sewing classes or other sewing project classes. Bring your scrap material, ideas, patterns, notions and accessories. Bring your sewing machine, too, if you have one!
This event is open to both members and guests! There is no charge for TechShop members or non-members, but only current members who have passed the associated sewing machine SBUs may operate the TechShop machines. Come and see these machines run, however, and satisfy your curiosity.
