Once again we have Sam Griffith from Interactive Web Systems providing a "Getting Started" with iOS development session. Just as before, I will have a short list of items you may want to check out before the meet-up to get your feet wet. Look for it over the next couple of days. If you have experience in this area and would like to help, please let me know.
We will also open up this session with a 15-minute HTML5 over by Lee Church of Systems nHand.
This meet-up is sponsored by Neubus. Firehouse sub platters will be served with chips, cookies and ice tea (less salad this time around). Thanks, Katy!
Hope to see you all there!
6:30 – 7:00 PM: Pre-meeting social
Nothing formal. If food is being served from a sponsor then it will be put out during this section.
7:00 – 7:30 PM: Show and Tell / Video segment
All attendees are welcomed to submit viral videos for showing. This segment allows for any quick non-formal technology show and tell.
7:30 – 8:30 PM: Main topic presentation
This is a member-led presentation. Everyone is encouraged to present a topic of interest. The submitted topics ideas will be posted for group voting.
8:30 – 9:00 PM: Focused small group discussion At this point the group will break into smaller, more focused group discussions. Some groups may dig deeper into programming languages and others into hardware technology. This part is ad-hoc and is mainly driven on group members' desires.
