Introduction to Physical Theater for Teenagers
Wednesday, 12/26/2012
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
TechShop Mid-Peninsula

The first of our new Visual Arts Workshop Series, Introduction to Physical Theater for Teenagers, comes to TechShop Menlo Park thanks to our master theater director/instructor, Alyssa.

Help your kids become more collaborative, expressive, spontaneous and fun.

In this three-hour workshop, your child will explore the techniques of physical comedy, clowning, mask performance, slapstick and improvisation. Their experience in this workshop can help them in all settings, from the stage of life, at home or school ... to the stage on Broadway! No performance experience required.

Instructor Alyssa Ravenwood is a physical theater director and performer. She has taught physical theater classes at the Texas Educational Theater Association, Bradley University, New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and with her own theater company. She is a graduate of The Institute of Canadian Clowning and The Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre.
