Blow your friends away when you send these paper and tape rockets hundreds of feet into the air!
In this workshop, we'll build a compressed air rocket launcher and two types of rockets. Once you've built this high quality/heavy duty launcher, dozens of rockets can be built for just pennies.Since this project first came out a few year ago in MAKE Magazine, thousands of makers all over the world have loved it. This TechShop class is the first one taught by the project developer. You'll build the launcher and some rockets then head to a local field to test them out.
All materials and tools will be provided and workshop participants will go home with an awesome launcher, bicycle pump and materials to make many more rockets on their own.
Class size is limited to 10 groups of 2-3 participants. This workshop is for kids 8 years old and up!
Team price: $100 Team size: 2-3 participants Team leader: Register online and email firstname.lastname@example.org with team members' names.
