Voting has closed and it looks like Raspberry PI show-and-tell has been voted in for our April meet-up. I would like as many presenters as possible for this meet-up, so, if you have a project large or small with any type of microcontroller, please let me know.
If you have something to present, please send me a note with the following:
1. Topic name for agenda
2. Time slot requested (5, 10, 30 minutes)
3. Any equipment you will need (power, vga, hdmi)
If you're not sure what to talk about, here are some ideas:
1. What does your project do?
2. Why did you feel in need to invest time in doing the project?
3. Things you assumed at the start but found out were wrong during the project?
4. What you plan on working on next?
Thanks for your support and I look forward to hearing about some cool projects. BTW, no sponsor yet for April. Please let me know if you know of any possible sponsors.
6:30 – 7:00 PM: Pre-meeting social
Nothing formal. If food is being served from a sponsor then it will be put out during this section.
7:00 – 7:30 PM: Show and Tell / Video segment
All attendees are welcomed to submit viral videos for showing. This segment allows for any quick non-formal technology show and tell.
7:30 – 8:30 PM: Main topic presentation
This is a member-led presentation. Everyone is encouraged to present a topic of interest. The submitted topics ideas will be posted for group voting.
8:30 – 9:00 PM: Focused small group discussion At this point the group will break into smaller, more focused group discussions. Some groups may dig deeper into programming languages and others into hardware technology. This part is ad-hoc and is mainly driven on group members' desires.
