Our presenter for the May meet-up will be Greg Stoll. Greg Stoll is a Nokia developer ambassador for Austin and will be presenting on the Windows mobile phone. This session will round out our mobile phone development introduction series (previous sessions are on youtube). Greg's talk will be about an hour long, will start high level and will get as technical as you geeks like to get :-).
Please come and join us for what should be a nice comparison session for mobile phone development platforms.
This session will also be sponsored, so food will be available!
New item: Since we had such a great success and group involvement for our show & tell I figured we would do it again. I would like to make this a ongoing item for each meeting.
Please bring what any projects you would like to show off. No need to reserve time, just bring the project or slides or both!
6:30 – 7:00 PM: Pre-meeting social
Nothing formal. If food is being served from a sponsor then it will be put out during this section.
7:00 – 7:30 PM: Show and tell / video segment
All attendees are welcomed to submit viral videos for showing. This segment allows for any quick non-formal technology show and tell.
7:30 – 8:30 PM: Main topic presentation
This is a member-led presentation. Everyone is encouraged to present a topic of interest. The submitted topics ideas will be posted for group voting.
8:30 – 9:00 PM: Focused small group discussion At this point the group will break into smaller, more focused group discussions. Some groups may dig deeper into programming languages and others into hardware technology. This part is ad-hoc and is mainly driven on group members' desires.
